Since Rob loves being the gourmet chef, I have been sitting on my hands and watching him instead of taking over the kitchen. It seems so much easier to let him sizzle, fry, or mash away than for me to measure, stir, and create a scrumptious dish that will be eaten within ten minutes--or thrown away (see the above sentences about my culinary skills.)
With 48 weeks to go, I need to step up and take action soon or I will be madly cooking up a storm the last few weeks of December. Today will be the day I will seize the kitchen! Oh wait, Rob has already begun the meal and I hate stopping a creative cook in action. There is always tomorrow--besides, a book is calling my name and that is truly # 1 on my list.
